Happy New Year!!!
O.K. so I decided to start a blog to make it easier for friends from far away to keep up with what I'm doing. You'll have to bear with me, as I've never done this before (although it seems pretty simple... I'm pretty computer slow). I'll try to update it regularly... or at least when there's anything exciting to tell.I've had a great Christmas break at home with my family... but time surely does fly when you're having fun. It's hard to believe that I leave for Vancouver THIS WEEK!!!! I'm very excited, but also a little nervous. I don't feel ready to leave yet. I spent New Year's Eve playing "Clean Sweep" with Liz and my mom - getting rid of more stuff (I already left LOTS in Virginia Beach) and sorting through boxes to see what I really NEED, since I can only take with me what fits in my car. I still have a lot to do before I leave. There are also still details to be worked out as well, the most important of which is where I will live when I get there. I have one potential arrangement, and I am trusting that God has his hands all over these details.
I'm excited about the trip across Canada. My mom is traveling with me, and I have plans to stop along the way to see some friends I haven't seen in a while. We will do the trip in five days. So far, it appears as though the weather will cooperate. I will try to post some pictures of the trip (if I can figure it out:)).
